This work is an attempt to go beyond the Ocomputer-likeOqualities of computer generated animations and create characters with theexpressive potential of human beings, using motion-capture and some originalproduction techniques that I have developed.
I worked alone on this project, so I didnOt have a lot of time toexperiment.
However, I was able to be in total control of the theme and themood of the entire project which made things easier.
I think this is one of the reasons to why my work was chosen.
Rather than present never-before-seen images, this work uses computer graphics to express images that people have seen before.
In doing so, it makes the computer graphics look remarkably realistic.
The movement of the characters gives them charm and personality, and they express something close to emotion.
This work raises the standard of digital character animation.
