Thank you very much for this award. I am very pleased with the work I have done on this series. I will be pleased if many people, who wouldn't normally have a chance to read my manga, get a chance to read this story. I find drawing short-form manga more enjoyable than drawing long-form manga because you have to keep focused and come to some kind of conclusion right away. It is more interesting, but it takes longer to complete. With serialized manga you have a lot of freedom to mess things up, but what I am trying hard to do is to draw long-form serialized manga that are as interesting and focused as short-form.

A gag manga with an earthy, provocative style. The most representative sample is the seventh story in the series,the tale of a high school girl who goes to class in the nude. The final gag evokes the fate of all women;in other words,it has the whiff of true literature. This is a kind of artistic expression that can onlybe allowed because its "just" manga, or perhaps is only possible because its manga. The leaps of imagination and carefully calculated flow of the panels reveal this artist's extraordinary talents.
