[Summary] A documentary footage which spun out a history by connecting an enormous quantity of documentary photography related to the A-bomb of Hiroshima with great care. A calm monolog in the background, pictures with the Atomic Bomb Dome in Hiroshima in their center are collaged and unrolled.

Artist:OTA Keizo, representing the Wii Sports development team
[Summary] A game features popular sports including baseball, tennis, and boxing. Depicts the movements and points to enjoy of each sport and realizes intuitive navigation by the Wii remote controller. This is a hallmark of Wii, which has spread on a global scale regardless of age or nationality.

Artist:HARA Keiichi
[Summary] Coo, a child of kappa whom an elementary school kid Koichi accidentally found and brought home. One day, in order to search for other kappas, Koichi and Coo set off on a journey to Tono where the kappa legend is still told. Through the friendship between Koichi and Coo, director HARA Keiichi’s work depicts humanness and ugliness, the scary side and distortion of human society, and the importance of family with brilliant scripting and direction.

[Summary] A work which highlights the “present” of the capital punishment system through OIKAWA Naoki, a newly recruited prison officer, who faces condemned criminals everyday and agonizes. Based on close and careful research, the author tackles with the serious theme of the “capital punishment system” head-on.

TSUJI Masaki (Animation Scriptwriter, Mystery Writer)
Born in Nagoya, 1932. Entered NHK in pioneer days of television and was involved in production and direction of Bus Dori Ura, Owarai Sanningumi, Fushigina Shonen, among others. Regarding animation, he has offered scripts for many companies including Mushi Production, Tokyo Movie, Toei Doga, and Eiken from the dawn of animation. Won the Anime Grand Prix script award five times. After receiving Mystery Writers of Japan Award in 1982, opportunities to write mystery have increased, but he has kept his interest in animation and manga and stayed in the post of judge for Chunichi Manga Taisho for 19 years and for Jump AKATSUKA Taisho for 10 years. Honored with HASEGAWA Shin Prize and the Special Contribution Award of Tokyo International Anime Fair.
