Preface of Memory: K's Slides

My work began with my discovery of old slides in empty houses. The films belonged to a man "K" who traveled around Japan in 1968. I referred solely to the notes written on each slide, which were about the places and people taken in those pictures. I traveled around Japan and captured different memories and flows of time between “K” and me. I tried to describe the memory from “K”’s perspective by imagining myself as “K” and writing letters to myself.
